this is hands down one of the best battle scenes ever shot on film
HOW THE CRAP DO THEY DO IT DAMMIT
remember there was no CG back then
so there is a certain charm to it :D

anyway start with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince review

Going in, i was expecting great stuff
besides it was my fav book of the series

COULD THEY PULL ANOTHER PRISONER OF AZKABAN???

kinda unfair
this is widely considered as the best book of the series

the story is dark
which reflects the danger of voldemort
yea something like tat

The book is just awesome

but the movie...
yea they nearly translated the book to film page by page but
they missed a lot of (IMO) important stuff

They shld have concentrated more on the Half-Blood Prince's book and delve more into Tom Riddle's memories (the only took the most important ones)

THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE'S BOOK SOMEWHAT PLAYED A BIG PART IN THE STORY DAMMIT!!!

set the groundwork for deathly hallows
it was very dark
AND I LIKED IT

oh and adding on

You know from the movie you can see teens being teens rite
I think it really reflects us rather well :3

I mean
they are experimenting with drugs (actually potions, btw its only in the book)
Kissing
Steads
Beer

and the brilliance of this film is
it is one of those film
where it is marketed towards kids (which is shit)
but actually its meant for >13

i mean as a kid u see them making potions
nothing wrong what

but as a teen
u can relate to the film

therefore it satisfies kids (in a way)
and also teens

fine its like twilight marketed towards kids
but 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than that POS (piece of shit)

Disliked:
again they shld have concentrated on the half blood prince book
and the memories..

BUT 1 part i feel it is the movies fault is

they shld have somewhat developed Draco more
sure it is an improvement compared to previous films but

I think Draco IS a freaking tragic character
he was kanna forced by his parents to be a death eater
and he don't want
but he want to avenge his father
and gain respect from him

case and point
he started to break down after the 1st half of the film :D

They SHLD have developed him!
extend the movie by 30 mins for this I also dont mind

o and the pacing a bit mixed ar...
1st half:relaxed,concentrating on the relationships on the characters
2nd half: Director: HOLY CRAP I FORGOTTEN THIS IS A HARRY POTTER MOVIE!!! *chiongs the rest of the story*

Daniel was OK
Emma was Chio
Rupert was being stupid..which is good
Bonnie Wright was preeetty good.. I am surprised
Tom Felton was good (MOAR SCRRENTIME FOR HIM PLEASE)
the guy who played Snape (cant remember) was on par with my favourite :D
annd the child actor for Tom Riddle is FREAKING SCARY
esp the teen version of him

BUT NONE CAN COMPARE TO
JIM BROADBENT WHO PLAYED HORACE SLUGHORN
damn hes good
words can't do him justice

although there was one actor that was srsly '...'
dumbledore...
damn can't remember his name..
hes kinda gay...
aint dumbledore supposed to be like the cool dude of the series

I have to say that the animation was very slick
and that is the only good point

this was clearly aimed at kids
the jokes were corny and well kiddish...

The Pregnant Mammoth is just trying to relate to mothers...
which is rather smart...

Heck remember the FIRST ICE AGE movie

I have to say the end battle
where the sabretooth and mammoth is rushing towards the pregnant mammoth
and on the other hand Buck (talk more about him later) and the 2 freaking weasels have an air battle with flying dinos (argh.. wats it called ar??)
that was rather interesting

Ray Romano was bored
Queen Latifa was bored
Dennis (something) was rushing through
Sean WIlliams Scott and I swear somebody sounding like Josh Peck were rather interesting but no chemistry between them...

but what saves this movie from bullshit land is....
BUCK VOICED BY SCO..err i mean Simon Pegg
he was a very fun character and really sounded like he had fun with the film
(bonus points he played scott in the new star trek film :D)

well it maybe cause I don't appreciate childish humour anymore but
thats not an excuse man....

but still watchable meh...
